How do I delete my Facebook account?

This how to permanently delete your Facebook account:

1. If not already logged in, log in to Facebook
2. Delete all the images and/or articles you have posted to your Facebook account 
3. Have your Facebook password ready
4. Click here -> Delete my facebook account
5. Follow the onscreen instructions
6. Do not relog into your Facebook account for at least 2 weeks.

That's it. Gone.
